At 55,000 miles, the oil pressure is starting to fade badly. The pressure warning light is on, brightly, whenever the car is not up to highway speed. I have heard rumblings that the Mitsubishi engines are prone to this problem at relatively low mileages. Can anybody tell me where the weak spot is in these engines: main bearings, oil pump, oil seals, wherever, so that I can advise her what to do with the car. The engine still sounds all right, with no obvious knocks. Bill Graves {...}!floyd!wgg
