I would guess that it would have enough power to do what it was designed to do. The weight of big tires and its effect on power can be minimised by checking the current motor RPM with the calculated motor RPM with big tires. if you get too large a drop, performance will suffer (axle ratio change time!). The real problem is the flywheel effect of the bigger tires overloading your brakes. The best advice is: talk to someone in the offroad biz that you trust and don't get carried away.
