It is called "Norman Thompson, Dept CH83 P.O. Box 3999, Portland Or. 97208 Ph #s 1-800-547-1160 24hrs, or in Alaska, Hawaii, and Oregon call 503-644-2666 Mon-Fri 8-5 PST." They have the must delectible stuff you have ever imagined. In addition to clothes and other goodies, they have Pacific smoked salmon filet, canned smoked salmon, or canned smoked salmon with no salt added ( for those who like no salt). All their salmon is smoked over alder wood. This is the traditional way and is found primarily in the Northwest region. A few years ago I was in Alaska and had occasion to have some Chinok salmon smoked over alder wood. This was heaven! the taste simply can not be described. I have also purchased Norman Thompson's canned smoked salmon, and find it excellent. I have purchased smoked salmon off the dock in Ketchkan, Alaska and find Norman Thompson to be equally as good. I have developed a love of smoked salmon, but it is rather hard to find in here in Atlanta, so I recommend this highly. It surprises me that you would even have trouble finding this in Oregon as it is a local favorite. You should be able to find many locals who don't advertise widely, but who produce excellent fresh smoked salmon. dan philen akgua!dlp
