Lines: 17 Remember those students who sat in the back of class and heckled the teacher? I had one teacher who was never embarressed or taken aback by anything they said. I remember once someone asked, "Mrs. Hardin, why aren't you pregnant?" She replied, "Well, when my husband and I were first married, we decided we didn't want children right away ..." and she proceeded to give a short lecture on birth control (this was when you couldn't teach it). No one could ask a question that could bother her. I was really impressed. - rene p.s. I had her two years later in advanced biology (the former was vanilla intro biology) and when she announced she was pregnant we all cheered. I was the ONLY ONE who guessed the sex of the baby right. -- Arpa: rene.umcp-cs@CSNet-relay Uucp:...{allegra,seismo}!umcp-cs!rene
