I'm afraid you have missed one crucial point.  The conservative does not
feel compelled to judge the U.S. and the U.S.S.R. by the same standards.

Well, yes, I do have to admit that I had noticed it, but I thought that I'd try
for some rationality. However, I begin to see that it is a foolish thing to
look for, particularly on the net.
