While this has little to do with dress codes in nightclubs, the fact that it occurred in Orlando, Florida reminds me of a conference that I attended there two years ago. After the conference finished, I decided to spend the weekend in Orlando before returning to the snow bound north. One of the first nightclubs that I saw had a sign out front (the lighted from behind type on a trailer with flashing lights around the border) which read, "LAP DANCING - PRIVATE ROOMS AVAILABLE." Being chicken, I never did check it out. But please could someone in Orlando tell me what lap dancing is? Is it what I think it is? Is (was) this a ruse to get around some law(s)? This should not be interpreted as a slur against Orlando; I'm just curious! It is a beautiful city with much to offer! as ever, j.r. {allegra, seismo}!rochester!ritcv!jrc
