Finally, someone has come up with a really topical subject for flaming.

The scenario I'd like to see is this:

	i)  Dondi's pet mongrel is infected with rabies by a demented racoon.

       ii)  Dondi, Caps, and all rest of this strip's poor-man's "Our Gang"
	    are subsequently infected while playing softball with the pooch
	    (apparently their only pastime).

      iii)  The strip ends with an apocalyptic scene straight out of "Night
	    of the Living Dead":  all those little runts running around, 
	    frothing at the mouth, destroying the plastic 50's  suburb in which
	    they live, while the parents look on with the glassy stare and
	    tranquilized smile the artist always depicts them with.

       iv)  Doonesbury appears in Dondi's place the next day.
