Organization: Georgia Tech School of ICS, Atlanta Lines: 22 Someone told me once that the people who are against guns are northeasterners and the people for owning guns are southerners. This is pretty arbitrary but I'd bet that there are vastly more urbanites against owning guns than ruralites. Though I live in a city now, I grew up several miles from nowhere, which is a small town many miles from a half-ass city. I don't like guns but I'd sure never advocate outlawing them. *ALL* of my neighbors had guns, most of my playmates were hunting by age twelve, and none of them ever shot any of their friends or enemies. (other than defenseless animals) Not only is it none of my business that they owned guns, but I wouldn't try to take 'em away without a platoon of marines. My question is this: Are you for or against owning guns and is your background rural or city? I'm trying to keep the issue real simple in my best psychological type experiment mode. If enough people answer, I will summarize and post. -- Jeff Offutt School of ICS, Georgia Tech, Atlanta GA CSNet: Ofut @ GATech ARPA: Ofut.GATech @ Csnet-Relay uucp: ...!{akgua,allegra,rlgvax,sb1,unmvax,ulysses,ut-sally}!gatech!ofut
