In Canada we have laws against hate literature which make it illegal to disseminate information which is likely to contribute to hatred of a particular group (I don't have the exact Criminal Code wording handy). It is an abuse of the concept of free expression to use that expression in certain ways. This is all the more true in the case of Usenet, which exists due to the generosity and good sense of its principal organizations' managements.
