I recently saw 2 jokes within the same article which were written by 
alice!sdh I believe.  They were "You can't have everything, where would
you put it"  and  "It's a small world, but I wouldn't want to paint it."

You might want to credit Steve Wright -- a quickly rising comedian from
Boston -- for those jokes.  It is part of his routine which, by the way, is
excellent.  I like his joke about playing with Slinkies all day on the
escalator.

Yes, they do belong on the net so long as you credit them to their sources.
