The current InfoWorld (November 14/ 83, Vol 5, issue 46, second or third "glossy" ish) has an Epson ad announcing the RX-80, a budget-priced Epson with graphics and 128 size/shading/etc combinations. "For a limited time" you can buy it for only $299 (two hundred ninety-nine bucks.) "But just because we made if affordable doesn't mean we've left off the goodies. You get ... bidirectional printing, logic seeking, and a speed of 100 characters per second... programmable forms control, graphics, and a special Quiet Mode to keep the noise down." I don't know if the price will go up or down after the limited time, though.
