The difference is that it's also one of the best 6809 Small-C's around. I have used it and find that it runs quite fast and produces surprisingly good code. I have also used Dugger's compiler. It's just not in the same league as Dyna-C in my opinion. I've heard rumors to the effect that M'ware C for the CoCo will be a full edition, but have not talked to Microware about it. Getting back to Dyna-C. I'm pulling these numbers off the top of my head, so take them as guides and not absolutes. But here is a quick comparison of the run time benchmarks for that infamous old standby PRIMES. Introl or Microware C: typically 15 to 17 seconds Dyna-C: around 29 seconds Dugger C: 50 to 60 seconds These were done on my homebrew 1Mhz 6809 system Cheers - Norm
