Remember, these things can store enough juice to kill you. If you aren't sure, let the monitor sit unplugged for a couple of days. This is exceedingly dangerous! I do not know the monitor in question, but *good* high voltage power supply capacitors can easily hold significant charge much longer than `a couple of days.'
