In response to questions about the Password Modem:

I've had mine now for about four months.
It became erratic during the second month, and I'm please to say that
the folks at USRobotics took back the old one, repaired it, and replaced
it within 10 days.  Although much of that time must have been taken up
by UPS travel, I think that's a pretty good repair time.

The modem has been working as advertised, but I haven't used it in any
situation which might cause it to drop its line. 

I thought I might miss the TX
