Ten fell for it. One salesmen boasted that his machine had purple framistans instead of the usual red ones. 'ventricles in the framistan' refer to something reported in a recent issue of Byte by jerry Pournelle where he got a salesman to admit that his portable computer had ventricles and they were in the framistan where they belonged. I frequently use this as an example why people should be careful when dealing with computer salespeople.
