       According to the	 November  27  Westlink	 broadcast1,  Wayne
       Green,  Inc.   has announced that the magazine "Desktop Com-
       puting" will be discontinued after the December 1983 issue.

       The magazine staff will direct their efforts towards  a	new
       magazine	aimed at users of the new IBM PC Jr.
