   If you you want a faster compiler, you might consider looking at ACTION!
sold by OSS.   This is not a C or PASCAL compiler, but it is easy to learn
for anyone who knows either of these languages.

  I shouldn't say any more since I am highly biased on this point (I'm the
author), but I thought it would be worth pointing the that it exists in case 
you weren't aware of it.
