UMODEM (for UNIX), MODEM (for TOPS-20) and MMODEM (for ITS at MIT) all do this sucessfully, making it unnecessary for the user to "lose control" of his TAC. I frequently connect to several hosts during one TAC session and "losing control" is unacceptable to me. -Keith
