Herb,
  I would suppose that the only difference between .HEX files via MAC and .REL
files via RMAC is that the .REL file is set up so it makes no direct memory 
calls but instead had some sort of formula that takes care of the memory 
addressing.  I'm not sure of it, but I would assume so.

(If anyone can correct me, I would be interested.  I have only used MAC and ASM
and am interested in finding out exactily what RMAC is.  I can go only by the
book and my own thoughts)
