I don't have a modem for my Rainbow yet, but I asked my dealer and he said that (for example) if I wanted to hook up a Smartmodem, the only extra equipment that I would need is a standard rs232 cable w/25 pin connector. My dealer also said that all the modem software that he has tested so far has worked efficiently and practically bug free. Jay ...!uok!jsmcginn
