I now use a program from C Ware Corp. (1607 New Brunswick Ave., Sunnyvale, CA 94087, 415/736-6905) called BUF128 which increases the buffer to 128 characters. It came as part of the Mark DeSmet C compiler system ($109). You might be able to get just the typeahead buffer program out of them by calling between 9AM-noon Pacific time, weekdays.
