Quite impressive. One of the more interesting possibilities is the preparation of a manuscript using it on an IBM PC, transferring the document to a VAX with a laser printer, and printing it on that printer. This is made possible by Microsoft's use of a press file, of documented format, somewhat in the spirit of device- independent troff.
