Texas CS Dept., Austin, Texas Lines: 21 I thought that the Canadians on the net might be interested in something my father wrote to me the other day: On a more serious note, I keep reading articles about the earth's temperature rising. I'm sure you have seen similar reports -- they are not new. One recent report commented that our present wheat belt would become a desert and that Canada and Siberia would become the new wheat belts. I suggest that if it appears that the predictions are coming true that you consider moving to Canada before the border is closed. I'm not kidding. (I didn't bring this up in order to spawn a discussion of the likelihood of such predictions, as I suspect that few people on the net know enough about it to comment with any authority. I guess it just seemed like an appropriate subject for a typical round of flaming [thereby accelerating the warming process in a neat self-fulfilling prophecy! :-) ]) ---- Prentiss Riddle {ihnp4,seismo,ctvax}!ut-sally!riddle riddle@ut-sally.UUCP
