All of this talk about humorous album titles got me thinking about
some of the more humorous group names that have made national/international
prominence (or at least had one release on a major record label).  Naturally
most of these groups sprang up in the "Renaissance" period of 1966-1968.
Anyway, this is what I came up with from looking at my collection and
thumbing through "The Rolling Stone Book of Rock Lists":
