Back in, oh, the ninth grade when  e v e r y t h i n g  was assumed to
have a strange sexual meaning which we didn't quite understand, we thought
that the following lines from Elton John's "Benny and the Jets":

               She's got electric boots
               A mohair suit
               You know I read it in a magazine

really went more like this:

               She's got electric boobs
               A mo has too...

(I should explain that "mo" was a local term meaning homosexual.  There
were times in junior high when the left and the right sides of the school
bus would alternate in a chant of "ho...mo, ho...mo", just to annoy the
bus driver.  The term "to cut the grass" completely supplanted "to mow
the lawn" because the latter phrase would be taken as an admission of some
horrible sexual deviance.  So much for growing up in liberal Stillwater,
Oklahoma :-})
