This is for the person that was "dragged" to the altar. People like that are fools and deserve what they get. We (meaning my husband and I) went willingly, in fact he wanted to push up the date many times. Men don't get into anything they don't want to. For the Ceremony I married him upon the beach Our vows spoken to each other and God There was no need for anyone else I married him in the church Before our God, family and friends To make it legal, and to share I asked his mother if I should marry him He asked my father for me shortly after And we agreed on forever He said I better not be late or he'd carry me And I was ready on time, with my fathers help Long walk to him. Words exchanged, and rings of gold Sealed the pact said first on the beach A repeat for the world to hear We didn't need this, it was decided before To spend forever discovering each other And forever isn't long enough.
