Re the back-and-forth between Martin Taylor and Zig on alleged Soviet support
for the peace movements:  when Reagan kept saying this in the US, the media
asked the FBI if it was true.  They said they had no evidence whatsoever that
the USSR was financing US peace groups.  I don't know about the CND, but
considering that the FBI is hardly considered to be a left-leaning 
organization, I'm satisfied that the US peace movements are independent.

Conclusion: Yes, the Reagan statements are either (a) deliberate disinformation
or (b) the result of a psychotic mind.
