They said they had no evidence whatsoever that the USSR was financing US peace groups. I don't know about the CND, but considering that the FBI is hardly considered to be a left-leaning organization, I'm satisfied that the US peace movements are independent. Conclusion: Yes, the Reagan statements are either (a) deliberate disinformation or (b) the result of a psychotic mind. p. rowley, U. Toronto
