Lines: 23 I'm planning a ski trip to Crested Butte and Telluride Colo. during the holiday season this year. I've been to Crested Butte before and had an incredible week of constant snow and deep powder. It snowed so hard while we were there, that by the end of the week, it was too deep to ski! The steeper runs were closed due to avalanche dangers and the open runs were not steep enough to ski the chest deep powder - you had to ski the groomed areas. Anyway, the point of this article is not to relay all my fish tales, but to request any info. and stories you might have about Telluride. I've never been there, but I've heard much about it and am really looking forward to taking the "plunge". I'm an advanced type skier and crazy beyond my years. My wife is more rational and is a basic Northwest intermediate skier (as opposed to a Texas intermediate - no offense!). Any recommendations on runs to ski? Also places to stay? Places to eat? Imbibery? - Bob Fitzsimmons, Tektronix, Inc.
