Devon had a crush on Mark Kennicut.  When he didn't reciprocate,
she got Wally to sleep with her.  She became pregnant and married
him, even though they really didn't think that much of each other
(especially she of he).

Donna had her tubes tied.  That operation is often reversible.  The
reversal was done, but the doctors thought that she still would not
be able to conceive.  Obviously they were wrong.
