Hmmm.  When I posted my original article, I was hoping to hear from someone
from the opposing side, i.e. someone who believed it immoral/illegal (yes, I
know they're two different concepts...) to assist or even allow someone to
commit suicide.  How good to see that so many people agree with me (have a
"rational" opinion on this matter... :-) )

Perhaps I posted it to the wrong newsgroup, as readers of net.suicide may
have a certain bias(?).
