I have a '74 Dodge Colt that developed a similar problem a couple of
years ago.  After some amount of unfounded panic I discovered that the
trouble was a loose and oil-covered connection to the oil pressure
sensor.  I suggest you try slipping off the connector at the head,
tightening and cleaning it, and then replacing it.
