Message-ID: <123@ccivax.UUCP> Date: Wed, 23-Nov-83 15:31:25 EST Article-I.D.: ccivax.123 Posted: Wed Nov 23 15:31:25 1983 Date-Received: Sun, 27-Nov-83 02:38:51 EST Organization: CCI Telephony Systems Group, Roch, NY Lines: 18 I have a 1977 Cutlass Supreme which has a very annoying hesitation problem. When the car is cold (i.e. warmed up for ~5 min or less) when trying to accelerate it sort of cuts out. It does not stall mind you, it just sounds and feels like it. When the accelerator is released, it picks back up again. The car runs great when it's warmed up. The only responses that I have been able to get are 'I don't know what the problem is' !@%$!!. Maybe I need a new mechanic. Just a little background; I had a new carb put on ~May, and a complete tune-up; the problem is worse in the winter, presumably because it takes longer to warm up. Has anyone had similar problems? Or can anyone give me a better answer than 'I don't know'? Any response (but that!!) will be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Chuck Privitera Computer Consoles Inc.
