(just when you thought it was safe to fly near the Soviet coast...) The December issue of Flying Magazine has a very good set of short pieces about the KAL007 massacre. Rather than being from the typical news-media sensationalist, questionable-accuracy-and-validity angle, these are from the perspective of the professional pilot with years of experience flying (and navigating) in that corridor.
