I agree with you, why should people who can listen to headphones responsibly
be branded outlaws, for listening on/in their wheeled devices.  Your point
about smarter people is great, Darwin lives......

Just think I can roll the windows up in my car turn up 40W of stereo to a 
+70db level legally.  I suspect I hear less in the car than I do on a bike.
