Everybody seems to know how to use the shift key. Like this: Use the CONTROL key like you would use the SHIFT key--anywhere you see CONTROL-C or ^C, simply hit the C key while holding down the CONTROl key in the same manner you would hole down the SHIFT key to type a capital C.
