Maybe ne is, but she isn't. It was Ford PREFECT who said
that (Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy, p. 21 of the
hardcover, or episode 1 of the radio or TV versions).

Maybe she was thinking of Ford Fairmont,  comic-book writer
and creator of The Unhappy F-Men (see E-Man #2 and #3).
