A little anecdote:

You may remember Pepper, Vic Martinelli's dog.
(he's security chief for Stark Intl.).
Pepper was killed by the Bad Guys a couple of years
ago. At a convention, David Michelinie, who had
written that series of Iron Man stories said that
he got a lot of mail askign if the dog
was really dead, and if she would be coming back.

So, he suggested to Chris Claremont that Pepper
move into his book, since she was now an "Ex-Dog".
(not to be confused with a ex-parrot).

I wonder why Pepper didn't show up in the "Marvel
Book of the Dead".
