My brother, an excellent cook, summarized the situation very well:

	"There's a difference between hot and cooked."

Baking potatoes in a microwave reminds you of this; the other ingredient
in "cooked" is time.  Let them sit a while and they get better.
(And you may have to adjust the microwave time with a few experiments.)
