     I know of a series of cookbooks for vegetarians prepared by the
Moosewood Restaurant in Ithaca,NY. The one that I have is compiled
by Mollie Katzen and contains excellent recipes for soups,salads,
sandwiches and main entrees and desserts. You may not find these books
in mainstream bookshops but you can definitely get them at shops that
cater to out of the ordinary tastes. By the way, the name of the book
that I have is the Moosewood Cookbook( no surprise there! ). Happy
