A great favorite with kids. Jello Cream Cheese Salad Ingredients: 1 3 ounce package Jello or other flavored gelatine 1 8 ounce package of cream cheese 1 16 ounce can of fruit cocktail Procedure: Drain the fruit cocktail, catching the juice in a measuring cup. Add enough cool water to make 1 cup. In a blender, combine 1 cup boiling water and the Jello. Blend. Add the liquid reserved from the fruit cocktail. Blend. Cut the cream cheese into about 12 parts. With the blender running and the lid on, add the cream cheese bit by bit through the access hole. Pour the mixture into a bowl or mold and place in the refrigerator. When the Jello has set up slightly, gently stir in the drained fruit cocktail then replace in the refrigerator until fully set. Comments: Any flavor of Jello works, but I prefer raspberry or strawberry. This can also be done without a blender by beating the cream cheese in with an egg beater, but it's tedious (hidden benefit for kids: you get to lick the beaters). Bob Warren cbosgd!rew
