When tabs are used extensively (such as when a heavily indented listing is viewed), or a lot of characters are output while the terminal is in insert mode, the line transmission rate is higher than the rate that the HP2621 removes characters from the buffer. And the performance of the HP2621P with the printer on, or the HP2621B is even worse. John Haller
