Seriously, Alan, your comment is very offensive, and deliberately so, I suspect. I suspect that no reasonable person would risk life and limb calling me "comrade". Hence, I assume that you have given up arguing facts, and even idiology, and you are now reduced representing "conservatives" as communists. Seems a fruitless task to me. Your articles make it clear to me that you do indeed trust the pronouncements of the USSR and the Cubans much more than you trust the pronouncements of the USA. It seems to me that your stand, in view of history, is completely unreasonable. Your evaluation method is as follows: 1) The US says "X". Therefore, we can assume as a given that "~X" is the truth, whole truth, etc. 2) The USSR claims no responsibility. This is obviously true, by default. 3) The Cubans say that the US is a bunch of war-mongering imperialistic dogs. Again, you take this as absolute truth. 4) Kruschev said "We will bury you!". NOW I'm told that he was just loosing his temper at the unreasonable USA. Enough! Send mail, you aren't doing the net any good. -- Tiredly, and without much hope; (allegra, harpo, ulysses)!rabbit!jj
