However, I want to clear up a misconception over 'guest'. On our computer there is a "guest" account for people who only have a short use of the computer and don't really need their own account. However, when a new user is admitted onto the system, they are assigned to the 'guest' account until the paperwork is complete and their own account is ready. During the time that user is on 'guest', any postings to the net will be from ..!ssc-vax!guest. I do agree that these people shold put their names into their articles, but as new users, they may not be familiar enough with the system to do so (I know I wasn't, and I've been a "hacker" for many years!)
