I inadvertently sent a message to net.flame which I had intended to
go only to net.politics, in which I made the statement "No flames,
please."  Now, I'll be among the first to admit that that looks
silly; so if you want to flame about my looking silly, go ahead [of
course, you'll flame to net.flame!], because (a) I probably deserve
it, (b) that's the purpose of net.flame, and (c) I don't subscribe to
net.flame, so I don't care what you do with it.  (In fact, I'm not
sure we even *get* net.flame here!)

P.S.  On the other hand, if you try *mailing* your flames to me, then
I probably *will* get upset.  That's what the net's for, right?
