I have it on reasonably good authority that there is a medical supply house
in Buffalo, New York that manufactures medical field supplies on contract
to the army which has recently been given a priority order for the government
to outfit several thousand field medical hospitals (M*A*S*H units, if you
will.)  Christmas vacations and normal holidays have been cancelled in order
to get the first batch of these out by the first of the year.  Two more
batches are due out in February and in March.  Rumors are that this unprece-
dented order is to be used in Nicaragua.  (But then, you know how rumors
are....)
