That I respond to your query about lap dancing should not be
construed to imply that I am an expert on the subject.  But being
a seven year resident of Orlando, I feel qualified to give you
some background.

Lap dancing, as defined in Orlando, is simulated sexual intercourse
in the female-dominant, male-seated position.  A scantily-clad
(or sometimes unclad) "dancer" positions herself over a male
customer's lap and grinds away to the music.  The expected fee
is usually from $5 to $20.  During the "dance" more expensive
alternatives are sometimes proffered, depending on the policies of
the "management" of the club.

Most of the clubs that offered lap dancing were concentrated in
a sleazy area of Orlando known as South OBT (short for Orange
Blossom Trail).  I use the past tense because there has been a
massive clean-up campaign in the last couple of years that
has wiped out all the lap dancing emporiums, at least in Orange
County.  Even the porn palaces were put out of business.

I hope this answers the question.  I suppose if the discussion is
to be continued, it should be moved to net.sex.4sale or something.
