While we're at it, what's the most appropriate thing to do to Cathy?  I
vote for marrying her to Irving for the rest of her life; not only would
this be appropriate punishment for her, but marrying Irving to her would
be an equally appropriate punishment.  If this is what Modern Woman and
Modern Man are, which way to Premodern Times?

And as for Wee Pals, I wouldn't do anything to them - they're so liberal
it makes your eyes hurt (thanks and a tip of the Hatlo to Frank Zappa, I
believe, for that one) - but putting the author on the Moral Majority mailing
list for the rest of his life would be appropriate for him.

And, while we're at it, how about having all the kids in the Family
Circus grow up and turn into junkies?
