As I recall, the row caused by Dr. Strangelove was more that it was so
similar to Failsafe, each respective author (or movie producer -- I
don't know what the original medium of each is) was suing the other for
copyright violation.  I was only ~10 at the time, and didn't see Dr.
Strangelove until much later.
