The show is a musical, music by Elizabeth Swados, book by GBT, both of whom are closely involved with the show. No reports yet on how it looks, I don't know if it's even in previews yet. Myself, I'm skeptical about it. When was the last time a successful show was created from a satirical comic strip? ("Dogpatch" only proved that Al Capp's creations worked better on paper than the boards.) But I'm ready to be surprised. Look for reviews next Friday.
