Does anyone know if it is OK to let Boston Ivy (or any ivy
for that matter) grow over wood rather than brick of stone?
We currently have some Boston Ivy growing up on the cedar
boards of our house.  I have never seen ivy that is allowed
to grow on wood - it's always on a brick building or fireplace, etc.
